In Vitro Meat

The project 'Food Design' focuses on the process of in vitro meat and getting consumers acquainted with the new meat.

In Vitro Food Stall is a food stall that mimics the selling of in vitro food to the customers to make the idea of in vitro meat less frightening or disgusting. The stall exists out of different components – the appearance, the cooking and the eating. This stall is meant to inform people about in vitro meat in a subtle way, by experiencing the food and using a paradox (paradox of aversion).

Within this Food Stall minced meat was put into syringes and put into a hot pan as if it was '3D printed'.
